Sportsmanship Summit 2007
The sportsmanship summit on Tuesday November 20th was held at the Nebraska Wesleyan University. There was many talented speakers who spoke to all of the students that attended. They had all over emphasized the importance of sportsmanship in Nebraska schools through out the day. They had different views of how to act on and off the court. Things such as body language and how you acted to certain situations during competition, your attitude towards sportsmanship. They made it very clear that you must give it your all 100% of the time and know that it is a privelage to be wearing your school colors during athletic acitvities, and too show great respect for your opponent. Students from West Holt that attended this summit were Jodi Schroeder, Dillon Cleary, Rylee Young, Russ Hipke, Bryce Rossman, Shelby Adair, Jamie Seger, Steven Dvorak, Tyler Thurlow, Nick Schrunk, Grant Garwood, Trevor Butterfield, Paige Osborne, Becky Frerichs, Morgan Kennedy, Addie Abner, Bailey Judge, Ethan Anderson, Hannah Dostal, Aaron Fritz, Kaylie Friedel and Matt Marcellus.
